How does the adversary tempt YOU? What does the Book of Mormon mean to YOU? How has the Holy Ghost testified of Jesus Christ to YOU? This week the Gospel gets personal as we talk about how a Marvelous Work and A Wonder has taken place in each of our lives, in just the way we need it to.

Resources used in this episode:

From The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis:
“Your patient has become humble; have you drawn his attention to the fact? All virtues are less formidable to us once the man is aware that he has them, but this is specially true of humility.”

From the Sistas in Zion Facebook page:

"I often wonder what people think when they see us sending missionaries out all over the world proclaiming to be the “one true church” with the “one true plan of happiness” after they get to peek in on us having discussions among members of our faith. I bet we look really impressive when we’re talking about food storage, and service projects, and how much humanitarian aid we send all over the world in our yellow T-shirts with the helping hands logo. But I think the true test of how the restored gospel of Jesus Christ shows up in the lives of the people who practice it, is what we look like when we’re talking about things we don’t agree on. Things that aren’t comfortable or easy. If we say that living the gospel is a difference maker then that difference should always show up in our engagements with each other. If we share an entire spiritual belief system, but when we talk about unshared political beliefs our conversations look like CNN and Fox News had an illegitimate love child and let it loose on social media, then what does that say about the gospel of Jesus Christ’s ability to make us one."
